Nightmare Before Christmas

I have loved and adored this film since I was a little kid, the simplistic yet amazing characters  definitely help set the mood for this tale.( simple is better ? ) Another thing, I noticed each character has its own colour pallet, this is something i need to research into thoroughly, as I believe it gives the character another level of depth.

 Fairly Odd Parents

The thing I noticed about the 3 main characters in this show are, they all use the same shapes for the bodies, all they do is change the features. This is good for many reasons, for example, if you created a series of characters using the same shapes, a viewer can immediately identify what show it's from.

This helps later on when you start making products to sell and it also helps with it's likeability (everyone knows a familiar face is always comforting)

 Adventure time

The colours are very vibrant, this gives off a friendly atmosphere. The characters are also all very simplistic yet very unique, I can also tell they are all part of the same show by the colours and the line work, for example all the arms look very skinny, wiggly  and have a lot of motion.

 In conclusion to this blog i need to create characters with a theme  and maybe i will make them simplistic (depending on how many characters I want to create)
