Backgrounds

I want there to be a variety of backgrounds for my animation, I want the colours to be vibrant but not all the time because I don't   want to make it seem too cheerful, not the mood i'm going for.
At first  I wanted to use flash to create them but it became difficult importing over the files. I decided to use Photoshop instead. I watched  a tutorial by Jazza on Advance Photoshop Painting. In this tutorial he uses a set of brushes made by an artist called Kyle T Webster.
 I was messing around with the brushes when i came across a brush that adds noise, I enlarged the brush to its max and chose a colour and painted away. I love the outcome.
