Baf animation( my best bits)

The main Things that stuck into my mind About Baf Animation festival  was the talk with the Aardman company and the showing  on thursday (Azur and Asmar The Princes Quest).
In the Aardman talk they talked about many things that made me want to become an animator, for example, how they got into the business, to the way they work everyday. I took down loads of notes but sadly I lost them but I did remember A lot as it was very well presented.
They are based in bristol( i lived there for a year), I was also pleased to hear that they do take on new animators all the time. Peter Lord talked about his company as if it was his own family. He said  something along these lines "we need to get a long well, otherwise our animations would lack character and the essence of fun"
This got me thinking,  I defiantly want to be a part of something like this, it seems so much fun and the people are like family, what is not to like...

Azur And Azmar Was a great film in my eyes, I did hear some people talk about it as if it was not so good but I myself liked it very much, even though some of the scenes were a bit shabby, some were outstanding and the storyline was tremendous, defiantly a lot more pros then cons. I especially liked the design of the Big lion, I like the  colour choice "red" instead of a normal colour for a lion like brown or orange, it gave the lion a more ferocious look. I also loved  the  amount of detail that was in the backgrounds, we were told at the start to get as close as possible to the screen, just so we could admire this.
